There are tours of the factory which is the featured attraction of the Swiss scenic rail train (known as the Swiss rail chocolate train). There is now a brand new visitors centre where you can l;earn all about how the chocolates were first made. You can watch the process of a chocolate being made and you get to eat it at the end of the tour and then go on to the education centre to make chocolate treats. There is even a restaurant selling chocolate goodies and a gift shop.

If you like fast cars then the Porsche Museum in Germany is the place for you. The new museum is in Stuttgart and is not only housed in a futuristic building, which itself is a spectacle, but has some of the best examples of Porsche cars dating back to when they were first made. There are over 80 cars on display spread over three floors. There are also restaurants and a coffee bar as well as a gift shop. There is even a Porsche showroom across the road in case you are so smitten you cannot bear to go home without a Porsche of your own.

You cannot visit Austria without going to the Mozart museums in Salzburg. Mozart was born in the town and grew up there, when his family were not touring Europe. His birthplace is a typical Salzburg town house and the other museum is the larger house his family moved to later. The birthplace has been expanded several times, with the museum now occupying rooms which were not part of the original residence and some of the exhibits are quite strange but fun, including an upside down room. The residence is more traditional and has a collection of letters and compositions as well as instruments.

If you have a Eurostar ticket then you can get free entry in to some of Europe’s finest attractions. If you are going to Paris or Brussels then you can show your Eurostar tickets and get 2 for 1 entry in to the paying exhibitions. This is for anyone who is travelling form the UK to Paris or Brussels on Eurostar and involved 5 of the Paris museums and 3 of the Brussels ones and so it is well worth looking in to this offer if you are travelling to these places on the Eurostar. It could determine which of the attractions you go to see while you are there.

Vienna is very famous for all of its lovely cafes and several must be sampled if you are visiting the city. There are a few really famous ones such as the Mozart Cafe, Kleines Cafe and Cafe Central but many others as well. This is the place where sitting out on the street with food and drink started and although it is catching on throughout Europe, it is fantastic to be able to do it here, where it is most famous and find out how it should really be done. Just sit on the street watching the world go by has got to be the most relaxing pastime.
